SDO® GLOVE

The SDO® glove is a full contact glove with open tip to all the digits. It can be used to manage the hand and digits where there is increased tone or where there is poor stability due to hyper-mobility. The addition of panels enable one to assist MCP extension of the fingers as well as extension and abduction of the thumb. This garment can also be extended to below elbow or attached to a full arm sleeve.

SDO® GAUNTLET

The SDO® gauntlet is a full contact lycra gauntlet that can be used to resist/assist wrist extension whilst stabilizing the thumb in functional extension and abduction. This SDO® garment can also include the digits (SDO® glove) where MCP extension is required. The choice of panels used and positioning of the fastening is determined by the clinician depending on the clinical reasoning for this provision.
